Replace Runway 14 Approach Lighting All Projects

The project requirements for this project were to replace the existing Sequenced Flashing Lights (ALSF 2) for Runway 14. The project also provided future distribution for future replacement of the other approach lighting systems. BME teamed with P&L General Contractors to provide a solution for the current and future installation. Abossein Engineering worked closely to BME to develop the design utilizing cutting edge technologies. New foundations, conduit, wiring, and fixtures were installed. Careful sequencing of the work was required to ensure no down-time for the existing runway systems. The new system was built next to the old system and tested and approved before making the transition.
