With fifteen people in the field, the combined experience of the BME team totals up to an impressive 150 years. Don Howat, President of the company, has been working as an electrician since he was seventeen years old. Don’s son Nathan is the Vice President – the business is family-owned and run. Weekend bar-b-ques and monthly birthday celebrations are part of the company culture. Everyone at BME has a great job – the mutual respect and caring among the crew carries over into personal pride in doing a great job for the customers.

Training at BME is ongoing
From apprentice to journeyman to master levels, the crew at BME participates in state-certified continuing education courses provided through the Independent Electrical Contractors of Washington. Weekly safety meetings are held at our office to ensure continued awareness of proper practices in the field.
