BME Supports Prep for ILS Project

The project, located at NAS Whidbey Island in Washington State, will prepare the airfield for an advanced ILS system upgrade. BME is proud to support Veterans Northwest Construction on this critical airfield upgrade project at NASWI.

BME scope will include Medium Voltage distribution, lighted airfield signs, lightning protection systems, extension fiber optic distribution, electrical distribution, and grounding. Project challenges include working on an active airfield, compressed schedule, weather, and COVID-19 restrictions.
