KORTE Picks BME For Major Barracks Renovation Project at NAS Whidbey

The Korte Company has awarded Blue Mountain Electric a design-assist contract for the renovation of Building 2701 at NAS Whidbey Island. The multi-million, multi-year, multi-phase project will renovate over 700 sailor berthing spaces and numerous common laundries, common kitchens, and multiple parking areas. Blue Mountain Electric’s scope includes electrical site work, feeders and distribution equipment, fire alarm and mass notification, LED lighting upgrades, and low voltage systems. BME Inc. is excited to partner with Korte on another exciting project at NAS Whidbey, after completing two previous MILCON’s on the station in FY2016 and FY2017.
